On the evening of May 21, the “Love Beijing Night Singapore”, hosted by the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, was successfully held at the Raffles City Convention Centre in Singapore. Under the theme of “One Kampong · Shared Prosperity,” the event brought together approximately one hundred government and industry representatives, sector leaders, and friends from both Beijing and Singapore to share friendship, discuss cooperation, and chart a path for development.
The event opened in a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere. Han Xinxing, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, introduced the development advantages and cooperation opportunities within Beijing’s audio-visual industry. He noted that Beijing, leveraging its rich cultural heritage, world-class innovation resources, and mature industrial ecosystem, is working to build an internationally leading hub for audio-visual industry development. Beijing possesses a complete industrial chain spanning from technology R&D to content creation and platform operations, and is driving the development of key sectors including ultra-high-definition, artificial intelligence, and live events through policy support and dedicated funds. Beijing continues to optimize its business environment, providing enterprises with one-stop, full-lifecycle services. He sincerely welcomed Singaporean industry peers to Beijing for collaboration and to share in the opportunities ahead.
A signing ceremony was held during the evening. UPTC（Beijing）Tech Co., Ltd. and New Wave Display (Singapore) reached a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will combine their respective strengths in ultra-high-definition production and broadcasting technology and Southeast Asian localization services to jointly expand the application of UHD “second venue” solutions across performance, events, and digital arts scenarios.
Beijing Sobey Vision Technology Co., Ltd. and SWS Group Company Limited (Thailand), Soheto Group Pte Ltd. (Singapore) signed an authorized agency agreement covering Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, and Nepal. Through the partner’s established local networks and market resources, the cooperation will systematically accelerate the deployment and promotion of Sobey’s advanced technology solutions across the region.
Beijing Yukuan Technology Ltd. and Ideal Systems (Singapore) Pte Ltd established a strategic partnership, with Ideal System becoming Yukuan Technology’s officially authorized distributor for Southeast Asia. The two parties will integrate product and channel resources to jointly cultivate local broadcasting markets and promote Chinese quality broadcasting technology and services to overseas audiences.
These three agreements span multiple key segments of the industry chain, including ultra-high-definition production, broadcasting system integration, and core technology supply. They chart a clear path for deeper future cooperation in areas such as joint technology development, market co-expansion, and standards alignment — further injecting strong momentum into China-Singapore audio-visual industry cooperation.
